TevraPet FirstAct Plus provides vet-quality flea and tick protection for cats, formulated with the same active ingredients as Frontline Plus (fipronil + (S)-methoprene). This monthly topical treatment works fast to kill fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks, and lice, while also preventing the development of all flea life stages. It is also effective in the control of sarcoptic mange mite infestations.

Dosing & Administration:
Part the hair at the base of your cat’s skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the applicator directly on the skin and squeeze to apply the entire contents. Apply once a month for continuous protection. In severe flea infestations, retreatment may be necessary earlier than one month, but do not reapply more often than once every 7 days. Once flea control is achieved, return to a monthly schedule.
Cautions/Warnings:
For external use on cats only. Do not use on kittens under 1.5 lbs. or younger than 8 weeks. Do not use on dogs or other animals. Individual sensitivities may occur. Avoid ingestion or contact with eyes. Consult your veterinarian before using on medicated, debilitated, or senior cats. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

Place the tip of the applicator on the skin and squeeze the applicator to apply the entire contents directly on the skin of your cat. Do not allow your cat to ingest this product, or get the product into their eyes. Proper placement of the product on your cat will minimize the opportunity for the cat to lick and ingest the product. Carefully avoid allowing the product to run off the side of the cat. Discard empty applicator and packaging as described in the Storage and Disposal section. Under normal conditions the product remains effective for a month. In cases of severe flea infestation, retreatment may be necessary earlier than one month. Do not reapply more often than once every seven (7) days. Once flea control is attained, return to a monthly application schedule. |
