Pharmacist in Charge: Dr. Spencer Brown (PIC)

Dr. Spencer Brown has been the Director of Pharmacy at Pet’s Choice since its founding in 2011. A native of north central Kansas, Dr. Brown brings his deep passion for pharmacy and animals to every prescription filled. He lives in Kansas with his wife, two children, and their pampered goldendoodle, Kimber.

Veterinarian Prescription Required

All prescription orders require a valid prescription from a licensed veterinarian. To comply with pharmacy law, prescriptions must meet the following criteria:

Prescription Requirements:

  • Pet owner’s name and animal species

  • Medication name, strength, and dosage form

  • Quantity and usage instructions

  • Issue date and number of refills

  • Veterinarian’s name, signature, address, phone number, and state license number

Important:
Prescriptions can only be faxed directly from the veterinary clinic. Owners may not fax prescriptions themselves but may obtain an original written version to mail to the pharmacy.

Pharmacy Laws & Guidelines

  • No photocopies are accepted

  • Expedited delivery may not be available for prescription items

  • Only original prescriptions sent by mail or faxed directly by the veterinarian will be processed

  • Veterinarians retain the right to approve or deny any prescription
