Zycortal® (desoxycorticosterone pivalate injectable suspension) is a veterinary prescription mineralocorticoid replacement therapy used in dogs. It is FDA-approved for the treatment of canine Addison’s disease (hypoadrenocorticism). Zycortal® helps replace the deficient mineralocorticoid hormones, regulating sodium and potassium balance to support proper fluid balance and normal body functions.
