Vetoryl® (trilostane) is a veterinary prescription adrenal steroid synthesis inhibitor used for the treatment of pituitary-dependent hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing’s disease) and adrenal-dependent hyperadrenocorticism in dogs. It works by blocking cortisol production, helping to control clinical signs such as excessive thirst and urination, hair loss, increased appetite, and panting. Vetoryl® is FDA-approved for use in dogs and is considered the gold-standard treatment for managing Cushing’s disease.
