Vetoryl® (trilostane) is a prescription adrenal hormone–regulating medication used to treat Cushing’s disease (hyperadrenocorticism) in dogs. It works by inhibiting cortisol production in the adrenal glands, helping manage the symptoms of both pituitary-dependent and adrenal-dependent Cushing’s. Vetoryl is the only FDA-approved medication for canine Cushing’s disease and plays a key role in stabilizing hormone levels and improving quality of life.
