Syringes can be autoclaved in their rigid package for use in sterile packs and trays. Sterility of individual unit is guaranteed if tamper-evident heat stake is intact. Do not use if heat stake is broken. 1. To open package, break heat stake by using one of three methods. A) Twist cap; B) Press edge of cap with thumb directly above heat stake; C) Tap cap against a hard surface. 2. Secure needle to syringe by twisting needle sheath clockwise. |
