Sulfamethoxazole-Trimethoprim (SMZ-TMP) is a broad-spectrum oral antibiotic prescribed by veterinarians to combat a variety of bacterial infections in dogs and cats. Its dual-action formula works to eliminate bacteria causing urinary tract infections, respiratory infections, skin infections, gastrointestinal infections, and more. This tablet can be given directly or with food to make administration easier.
