Rx Salix (Furosemide) 12.5 mg Tablets – 500 ct.
Salix (furosemide) is a prescription loop diuretic used in dogs and cats to help reduce fluid retention (edema) associated with cardiac insufficiency, pulmonary congestion, ascites, and acute noninflammatory tissue edema. By increasing urine production, Salix helps relieve swelling, reduce discomfort, and improve breathing in affected animals. In cases of edema involving cardiac insufficiency, continued use of heart stimulants such as digitalis or its glycosides is often indicated.
