PrednisTab (prednisolone) is a corticosteroid anti-inflammatory medication prescribed for dogs and cats to treat a wide range of chronic and acute conditions. It is effective in managing collagen, dermal, allergic, ocular, otic, and musculoskeletal conditions that are responsive to corticosteroid therapy. PrednisTab may also be used in the management of Addison’s disease, arthritis pain, lupus, asthma, and certain skin and blood disorders.
