Metoclopramide Tablets are a prescription medication used to increase muscle contractions in the upper digestive tract, helping the stomach empty more quickly into the intestines. This action makes it effective for short-term treatment of nausea, vomiting, and heartburn caused by gastroesophageal reflux in animals that have not responded to other medications. It may also be prescribed to treat post-operative nausea and to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy.
