Ketoconazole Tablets are a broad-spectrum antifungal prescription medication for dogs, cats, and other small animals. Veterinarians prescribe Ketoconazole to treat fungal infections of the skin, claws, and internal systems. In dogs, this medication is also used for the management of hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing’s disease), as well as palliative therapy in cases of malignant or invasive tumors where surgery is not an option. Ketoconazole is also used to stabilize dogs prior to surgery.
