Factrel® (gonadorelin hydrochloride) is a veterinary prescription synthetic gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) used in cattle. It is FDA-approved for the treatment of ovarian follicular cysts in dairy cattle and as part of estrus synchronization programs to enhance breeding efficiency in beef and dairy herds. By stimulating the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), Factrel® helps regulate ovulation and reproductive cycles.
