Enroquin® Flavored Tablets are an FDA-approved antibiotic for dogs and cats, bioequivalent to Bayer Baytril® Taste Tabs®, delivering the same efficacy and safety at a lower cost. Enrofloxacin, the active ingredient, is a broad-spectrum quinolone antibiotic that targets Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. It is rapidly absorbed from the digestive tract, penetrates tissues and fluids, and is effective against urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, and skin infections (dermal infections).

These beef-flavored tablets are designed for easy administration and improved compliance in dogs and cats.

Active Ingredient (per tablet):

• Enrofloxacin 136 mg

Dosing & Administration:

• Dogs: Administer orally at 5–20 mg/kg (2.27–9.07 mg/lb) of body weight once daily, or divided into two equal doses 12 hours apart. Selection of dose depends on infection severity and clinical judgment. Tablets are scored for accurate dosing.

• Cats: Administer orally at 5 mg/kg (2.27 mg/lb) once daily, or divided into two doses 12 hours apart.

• Continue treatment for at least 2–3 days beyond cessation of clinical signs, up to a maximum of 30 days.

Cautions/Warnings:

• Contraindicated in animals hypersensitive to quinolones.

• Not recommended in young, growing dogs (2–8 months in small/medium breeds; up to 18 months in giant breeds) due to risk of cartilage damage.

• Use with caution in animals with CNS disorders, as quinolones may induce seizures.

• Rare adverse reactions may include vomiting, diarrhea, ataxia, lethargy, or retinal degeneration in cats (at high doses).

• Do not exceed 5 mg/kg/day in cats due to risk of retinal toxicity.

• Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
