Cerenia® is a veterinary prescription medication classified as a neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist. It is the first and only FDA-approved treatment to prevent vomiting due to motion sickness in dogs. By blocking signals to the vomiting center in the brain, Cerenia® provides safe, effective, and non-sedating relief, helping dogs travel more comfortably.

• Use Only Under Vet Supervision: Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. Not for human use. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical attention immediately. Wash hands after handling; may cause localized skin reactions or eye irritation with accidental exposure. Use caution in dogs with hepatic dysfunction or when used with other highly protein-bound drugs. May cause dose-related decreases in appetite and body weight.

• Contraindications/Cautions: Not evaluated for use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs. Not evaluated in dogs with gastrointestinal obstruction or toxin ingestion. Not for puppies under 8 weeks (acute vomiting) or under 16 weeks (motion sickness).

• Storage: Store at 68–77°F (20–25°C).
