Rx Benazepril 20mg x 100 tablets
Benazepril is an ACE inhibitor prescribed for dogs and cats to help manage heart failure, high blood pressure (hypertension), and certain types of kidney disease. It works by dilating blood vessels and reducing fluid retention, easing the workload on the heart. In cats, it is also used as an aid in the management of chronic renal insufficiency associated with proteinuria.

Do not abruptly start or stop this medication without approval by your veterinarian. Treatment is normally continued for the duration of the animal's life. If you miss a dose, give it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the one you missed and go back to the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once. This medication should only be given to the pet for which it was prescribed. |
