Rx Apoquel 5.4 mg x 30 tablets
Apoquel is a prescription medication for dogs that delivers fast-acting relief from itching (pruritus) and inflammation caused by flea allergies, food allergies, contact dermatitis, and atopic dermatitis. Relief typically begins within 4 hours and is effectively controlled within 24 hours. Apoquel can be used both short-term to quickly manage symptoms and long-term to reduce itching and inflammation.
Safe for use in conjunction with other medications, including NSAIDs, parasiticides, antibiotics, vaccines, and allergen-specific immunotherapy, Apoquel works by selectively inhibiting Janus kinase (JAK) enzymes, which target itch-inducing cytokines while minimizing impact on immune function.
