Albon® (sulfadimethoxine) 5% Oral Suspension is a veterinary prescription sulfonamide antibiotic and antiprotozoal formulated for dogs and cats. It is indicated for the treatment of respiratory, intestinal, urinary tract, and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible bacteria, and is especially effective for the treatment of coccidiosis, a protozoal intestinal infection. The liquid formulation is convenient for small pets or those that refuse tablets.
