Advantage Multi® for Dogs (imidacloprid & moxidectin) is a broad-spectrum monthly topical solution that provides heartworm prevention, flea control, and intestinal parasite treatment in one easy application. Recommended for dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age or older, weighing 9.1–20 lbs., Advantage Multi® is the only FDA-approved product for treating circulating heartworm microfilariae in heartworm-positive dogs. It also kills adult fleas, treats flea infestations, and controls hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, and sarcoptic mange.

• Canine Safety: Safe for dogs weighing 9.1–20 lbs. and at least 7 weeks of age. Do not use in sick, debilitated, or underweight dogs. Safety not established in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs.

• Breed Sensitivity Warning: Dogs with the MDR1 gene mutation, especially Collies and Collie crosses, may be more sensitive to avermectins. Ingestion can cause severe adverse effects including depression, salivation, tremors, coma, or death. Separate treated dogs for 30 minutes after application to prevent licking.

• Human Safety Warnings: Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid eye, skin, and clothing contact. Children should not touch the application site for 2 hours post-application. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.

• Use Only Under Vet Supervision: Dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infection before use. Not effective against adult D. immitis.

• Contraindications/Cautions: Do not administer orally. Do not use on cats (contains 2.5% moxidectin). Avoid in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs unless directed by a veterinarian.

• Storage: Store at controlled room temperature. Protect from light.

• Regulatory: Prescription required; federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
