Recommended for dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age or older, weighing 88.1–110 lbs., Advantage Multi® is the only FDA-approved product for treating circulating heartworm microfilariae in heartworm-positive dogs. It provides the flea-killing action of imidacloprid, plus the parasite control power of moxidectin, giving dogs complete coverage with just one monthly dose.

• Canine Safety: Safe for dogs weighing 88.1–110 lbs. and at least 7 weeks of age. Do not use in sick, debilitated, or underweight dogs.

• Breed Sensitivity Warning: Some dogs, particularly Collies and Collie crosses, may carry the MDR1 gene mutation, making them more sensitive to avermectins. Ingestion may cause adverse reactions including depression, salivation, dilated pupils, tremors, incoordination, panting, coma, or death. Separate treated dogs for 30 minutes after application to prevent licking.

• Human Safety Warnings: Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Children should not touch treated dogs for 2 hours post-application. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. If swallowed, seek immediate medical advice.

• Use Only Under Vet Supervision: Dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infection before starting. Not effective against adult D. immitis.

• Contraindications/Cautions: Do not administer orally. Do not use on cats (contains 2.5% moxidectin). Avoid in breeding, pregnant, or lactating animals unless directed by a veterinarian.

• Storage: Store at controlled room temperature. Protect from light.

• Regulatory: Prescription required; federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
