Adequan i.m. is a prescription intramuscular injection for horses, recommended for the treatment of non-infectious degenerative and traumatic joint dysfunction and associated lameness of the carpal and hock joints. This injectable therapy helps improve mobility, reduce inflammation, and support long-term joint health in equine patients.

• Class: Polysulfated glycosaminoglycan (PSGAG), joint therapy

• Indication (Horses): Intramuscular treatment of degenerative and/or traumatic joint dysfunction and associated lameness of the carpal and hock joints

• Use Only Under Vet Supervision: Must be administered by a licensed veterinarian; injection site must be thoroughly cleansed prior to injection; do not mix with other drugs or solvents

• Dosage & Administration: Recommended dosage is 500 mg once every four days for 28 days intramuscularly
