Use Only Under Owner/Veterinary Guidance:
Mix 1 part powder with 2 parts warm water (shake or stir—do not blend). Feed 1 tbsp (15 mL) per 2 oz. body weight daily, divided into multiple feedings. Very small or weak kittens may require feeding every 3–4 hours. Larger kittens may feed every 8 hours. Monitor weight at least 3 times weekly to ensure proper growth.

Gently shake or stir one part of powdered Pet Lac into two parts of warm water. A part is any measuring device you use: teaspoon, tablespoon or cup. Do not use a blender. All animals should receive their mother’s milk for at least 2 days, if possible. The colostrums milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases. Reconstituted Pet Lac should be fed at room temperature. Reconstituted Pet Lac may be fed at the daily rate of 1 tablespoon (15 mL) per 2 ounces (57 g) body weight. The daily feeding rate should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Animals’ needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Larger animals do well when fed reconstituted Pet Lac every 8 hours. Small or weak animals may need to be fed reconstituted amounts every 3 or 4 hours. Weigh the animal 3 times a week to assure adequate feeding. Consult your veterinarian for advice. Not for human consumption. When a food supplement is desired, for growing animals or for supplementing large litters, old or convalescent animals, Pet Lac Powder should be used at the rate of 1 teaspoonful per 5 lbs (2.2kg) body weight.
