Optimmune® Ophthalmic Ointment is a prescription medication for dogs containing cyclosporine, a powerful local immunomodulator used to manage keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS), also known as dry eye, and chronic superficial keratitis (CSK). This specialized formula helps reduce inflammation, protect tear glands, and stimulate tear production, preserving long-term eye health. It is often recommended for lifelong consistent therapy to maintain optimal eye function and comfort.

• Strength & Count: 2 mg cyclosporine USP per gram; 3.5 g tube.

• Class: Ophthalmic immunomodulator.

• Indication (Dogs): Treatment of KCS (dry eye) and CSK to reduce inflammation, redness, and irritation.

• Mechanism of Action: Broad anti-inflammatory effects that minimize damage to tear glands while stimulating tear production.
