Neomycin and Polymyxin B Sulfates and Dexamethasone Ophthalmic Suspension, USP is an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial eye medication for steroid-responsive ocular conditions in animals. It is indicated when a corticosteroid is needed to reduce inflammation and swelling, and when there is a bacterial infection present or a high risk of infection. This combination therapy helps manage conjunctivitis, keratitis, chronic anterior uveitis, and eye injuries caused by chemicals, radiation, burns, or foreign bodies. It is active against common bacterial eye pathogens including Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae, Klebsiella/Enterobacter species, Neisseria species, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

  • Prolonged corticosteroid use may cause glaucoma, optic nerve damage, cataract formation, corneal/scleral thinning, or secondary infections.

  • Use with caution in viral eye infections; may mask or worsen bacterial infections.

  • Do not inject.

  • Monitor intraocular pressure if used for 10 days or longer.

• Storage: Store upright at 46°–80°F.
