Dexamethasone Injectable is a synthetic analogue of prednisolone with potent anti-inflammatory effects and diversified hormonal and metabolic benefits. It is indicated for the treatment of bovine ketosis, acute musculoskeletal inflammation in horses, and various rheumatic, allergic, dermatologic, and other inflammatory conditions in multiple species. It may also be used as supportive therapy in stress-related and infectious conditions when combined with appropriate primary treatments.

• Strength & Volume: 2 mg/mL; 100 mL sterile injection solution.

• Class: Corticosteroid / Anti-inflammatory.

• Indication (Bovine): Treatment of primary ketosis, mastitis, metritis, traumatic gastritis, pyelonephritis, and inflammatory conditions such as laminitis and shipping fever.

• Indication (Equine): Management of acute musculoskeletal inflammations (bursitis, carpitis, osselets, tendonitis, myositis, sprains) and supportive therapy for fatigue, heat exhaustion, laminitis, influenza, and retained placenta.

• Indication (Other Species): May be prescribed for various conditions in other animals as directed by a veterinarian.

• Contraindications/Cautions: Avoid in animals with chronic nephritis, Cushing's syndrome, uncontrolled infections, or during certain stages of pregnancy. Use with caution in cases of congestive heart failure, diabetes, or osteoporosis. May cause laminitis in horses and other steroid-related side effects.

• Use Only Under Vet Supervision: Administer intravenously or intramuscularly as directed. Dosage varies by species and condition.

• Storage: Store at room temperature (68–77°F), away from heat, moisture, and light.
