Barrier® (imidacloprid & moxidectin) is a topical parasiticide solution for cats, designed as a full-line comparison to Advantage Multi® (sold separately). This monthly heartworm, flea, and parasite preventative is recommended for cats 9 weeks of age and older, weighing 9.1–18 lbs. Barrier® kills adult fleas, treats flea infestations, prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis, and controls ear mites, hookworms, and roundworms. For ferrets, Barrier® is also indicated for heartworm prevention and flea control. The convenient twist-to-open design makes application easy and precise.

• Feline Safety: Safe for cats weighing 9.1–18 lbs. and at least 9 weeks of age. Do not use on sick, debilitated, or underweight cats.

• Ferret Safety: Do not use in ferrets under 2 lbs. Safety not established in breeding, pregnant, or lactating ferrets. Effectiveness not evaluated in ferrets over 4.4 lbs.

• Use Only Under Vet Supervision: Administer only as directed by your veterinarian. Avoid oral ingestion. Monitor for hypersalivation, tremors, vomiting, or decreased appetite if ingestion occurs.

• Contraindications/Cautions: Do not use in cats under 9 weeks of age or less than 2 lbs. Not studied in breeding, pregnant, or lactating cats. Use with caution in geriatric cats.

• Storage: Store at controlled room temperature between 39°F–77°F (4°C–25°C). Protect from light.

• Regulatory: Prescription required; federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
