Our unique patented tube assembly contains a plunger and seal that allows water to be dispensed only when the steel ball is depressed. Due to the unique nature of our seal there may be occasion when small particles, sediment, or hard water build up could become lodged in the seal. This could cause seal to remain open allowing water into the tube and will cause leaking. If you experience continual leaking you should disassemble your tube cap assembly, rinse the parts thoroughly and assemble. Please see diagram for assembly steps. Note: Be sure to press the black gasket all the way down into the cap. This gasket holds all of the parts in place. Tap the cap on a table top to confirm that the parts are firmly in place. Screw cap to bottle securely. Once cap is firmly in place, you can easily fill bottle through the flip top lid. Test your bottle by depressing the ball several times. Water should dispense freely. Remember a small amount of water will be trapped in the tube after depressing the ball, so a bit residual dripping will occur. |
